Seeking something that is not on the list? Ask!
ReverieInduces a pleasant, highly realistic hallucination drawn the user's past memories. In high doses, the hallucination is extremely subject to outside influence, and completely realistic, allowing for easy interrogation.
Crimson EmbraceHeats you up. Depending on the user (we suggest rolling /random for this) this will either mean heatstroke or incredible arousal and pleasure, or somewhere in between.
Dancing LightsA small blue crystal the size of a finger. Fancy a rush but none of the fuss? Crush this between your teeth and drink your preferred poison (figuratively speaking) and lay back into an evening of flashing lights in the corner of your vision and a general sense of ease.
Arette's MercyA strange combination of goblin herbs that have been mixed and ground in a clay pot for several days before being soaked in Aether, though exactly what kind of Aether would be hard to tell at a glance. Once consumed it acts as a powerful painkiller which, oddly enough, is not it's main draw for recreational use. Rather what makes it unique is it's ability to open new sensory pathways for the imbiber. Seeing sound, smelling texture, tasting color, among other things that are harder to describe.
Carver's SpringComposed of a strange collection of Fungi that have been mixed into a bowl and crushed into a strange herb infused purple pulp, Carvers Spring has the strange capacity to make everything in the world feel sharper and clearer. Sight, sound, sensation, it can at times feel like someone is rolling a blade off their tongue after ingestion. The prickling sensations that run up and down the body are often in themselves enough to make someone experiment, often times in combination with other substances of the kind. But it has a particularly strong market among Battlemages who find that the very weave of their Aether has sharpened, allowing them to cast spells with greater potency that often cut to the core of their victims Aether, and sometimes imbue sorcery with stranger properties.
Y-58A thin, slightly milky aqueous suspension prepared for injection. Can be ingested, but requires higher doses if so. Increases sensitivity to pain, as well as other sensations. Suitable for gentle sexual use, but will cause uncomfortable oversensitivity quite easily.
Landtrap SapA sticky substance harvest from Landtrap family of carnivorous plants, this liquid provides an important reagent for crafting common household medical tinctures.
Dreamer's PillowA perfect nightcap for when rest isn't forthcoming, or something to help nerves, especially in elderly an PTSD patients, this mix of herbs can be smoked or put in a tea and allow normal functioning with no loss of ability, but much more mellow patience and mood.
Waking NightmareCauses full body paralysis, but leaves someone fully aware, and fully able to feel everything going on. They can't speak, can't act, can't move. Breathing, heartbeat, and other automatic processes are unaffected.
Rhalgr's WrathA little red vial of liquid. When consumed will make the consumer feel bigger and stronger than ever before. Redness will tint the corner of the consumers vision, and will smell iron, and feel the glory of battle rush within them. Perfect for a bar room brawl, or a frontline fight.
Lustful LibationA pink liquid in a rectangular bottle. Syrup and Sex. Wanna go all night? Wanna feel like a god? Wanna love every single face you see no matter if Garlean or Au-ra alike? Seek no further than this potion of potence. Will make the consumer able to go several rounds without rest. Consumer is warned to hydrate between rounds.
Hissing ScythraxA derivative of an already popular drug, Sellecere's hand had given it a few 'unique' properties over it's traditional version. High quality Fogweed is chopped and set in a special silver container along with Danner Sage, then gently soaked in a mysterious liquid before being dried with fire crystals. The end result is a pleasant smelling smoke that is both extremely relaxing and a potent hallucinogen. Consumers often report the feeling of melting in their seat while the world shifts and changes around them, the precise nature of those visions reflecting ones inner self.
MokoThe street name for this plant, this multi-use herb can be imbibed via multiple methods, and the adventure of doing so is often half the draw. Ground and smoked like any other cigarette, pulled through alchemical glass alembics for a softer hit, even steeped into tinctures and baked into confection-it makes a decent starter drug for those looking to sit back and unwind. Overconsumption can lead to amnesia and eating one's entire larder in a sitting. Effects will require progressively more consumption to retain over time.
Y-68A thin, slightly milky aqueous suspension, prepared for injection. Can be ingested, but requires higher doses if so. Drastically (~ x20) increases sensitivity to every stimulus: sound, heat, pain, pressure, stretch, cold, everything. Any stimulus becomes uncomfortable and overwhelming; basic discomforts become keenly painful. A nearby candle flame is burning you alive; a draft is a gale; a wind is knives of ice. Understandably, this makes even minor pain excruciating. Suitable for use on hardened masochists, as it enables 'gentler' play without permanently damaging the body.
FogweedA calming herb introduced to Eorzea by the Sharlayans, this plant primarily grows in Dravania and induces a pleasant, calming sense for the user, relaxing them without any harsh side effects.
